Project - Entrepreneurship training, delivered through WhatsApp

Ovation wanted to train entrepreneurs without asking them to install an app. Sila built a platform connecting WhatsApp to a complete management dashboard.

Ovation trains entrepreneurs. Their challenge: people are spread out and difficult to bring together. Their idea: what if training came to WhatsApp, with nothing to install?

The challenge

  • Learners spread across different locations, unable to meet in person
  • Requiring an app installation would make adoption too low
  • How could enrolment, progress, exercises and results be managed without a dedicated tool?
  • Lessons, videos, exercises and progress tracking all had to fit into a WhatsApp conversation

The solution

For learners: everything happens in WhatsApp. They receive lessons, watch videos, complete exercises and ask questions. No app to install, no account, no friction.

For Ovation: a web application to manage users, create courses, define resources, track progress in real time and collect results.

Connecting the two: a WhatsApp Business API integration, a knowledge base and a backend that delivers the right content at the right time. Learners only see WhatsApp. Ovation sees everything.

We had a technically challenging ambition. Sila did more than build what we had imagined. They asked the right questions, challenged our assumptions and built the solution with us.

Shared tracking between the office and the workshop

The Excel workbook automated order preparation, but keeping information up to date became difficult once it reached the workshop. A custom ERP is now being tested to extend that tracking through to loading.
